Visita a Maria Santissima. Santissima Vergine Immacolata e Madre mia, Maria, a Voi che siete la Madre del mio Signore,

Visit to the most holy Mary.  Most holy Virgin Immaculate, my Mother Mary, to thee who art the Mother of my Lord,

la Regina del mondo, l'Avvocata, la Speranza, ed il Rifugio dei peccatori, ricorro oggi io, che sono il più miserabile di tutti.

the Queen of the universe, the advocate, the hope, the refuge of sinners, I who am the most miserable of all sinners, have recourse this day.

Vi venero, o gran Regina, e vi ringrazio di quante grazie mi avete fatto finora, specialmente di avermi liberato dall'inferno tante volte da me meritato.

  I venerate thee, great Queen, and I thank thee for the many graces thou hast bestowed upon me even unto this day;

in particular for having delivered me from the Hell which I have so often deserved by my sins.

Io vi amo, Signora amabilissima, e per l'amore che vi porto, vi prometto di volervi sempre servire, e di far quanto posso

 I love thee, most dear Lady; and for the love I bear thee, I promise to serve thee willingly for ever and to do what I can

acciocchè siate amata e servita ancora dagli altri. Io ripongo in Voi dopo Dio tutte le mie speranze, tutta la mia salute;

to make thee loved by others also. I place in thee all my hopes for salvation;

accettatemi per vostro servo ed accoglietemi sotto il vostro manto, Voi Madre di misericordia.

  accept me as thy servant and shelter me under thy mantle, thou who art the Mother of mercy.

E voi che siete così potente presso Dio, liberatemi da tutte le tentazioni oppure ottenetemi forza di vincerle sino alla morte.

 And since thou art so powerful with God, deliver me from all temptations, or at least obtain for me the strength to overcome them until death.

A Voi dimando il vero amore a Gesù Cristo, da Voi spero di fare una buona morte. Madre mia, per l'amore che portate a Dio,

 From thee I implore a true love for Jesus Christ. Through thee I hope to die a holy death. My dear Mother, by the love thou bearest to Almighty God,

vi prego d'aiutarmi sempre, ma più nell'ultimo punto della mia vita. Non mi lasciate, fintantochè non mi vedrete già salvo in Cielo

 I pray thee to assist me always, but most of all at the last moment of my life. Forsake me not then, until thou shalt see me safe in heaven,

a benedirvi ed a cantare le vostre misericordie per tutta l'eternità. Così spero, così sia.

 there to bless thee and sing of thy mercies through all eternity. Such is my hope. Amen

 Salve Regina, Mater Misericordiae, vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra, salve! Ad te clamamus,

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry,

exsules filii Hevae, ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes, In hac lacrimarum valle. Eja ergo, Advocata nostra,

poor banished chidren of Eve, To thee do we send up our sighs, Mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, o most gracious advocate,

Illos tuos misericordes oculos ad nos converte Et Jesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui, Nobis,

Thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile, Show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

post hoc exilium, ostende, O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.

 O clement, o loving, o sweet Virgin Mary.
